The school regards bullying as a serious infringement of individual rights and a serious threat to the self-esteem and self-confidence of targeted pupil(s). Therefore it does not tolerate bullying of any kind.

Roinntear na Naíonáin Bheaga ar fad a thosaíonn i Meán Fomhair i 4 rang bheaga agus fanann siad sna ranganna seo arís i rang Naíonáin Mhóra . Deintear é seo ar mhaithe na leanaí agus iad ag foghlaim sa chóras tomoideachais. Eagraítar na páistí i 3 rang nuair a théann siad isteach i Rang 1,
The Junior Infants children are divided into 4 smaller classes in September and they remain in these classes in Senior Infants as well to maximise the benefits of immersion teaching. However in First class they are merged into 3 classes.

Bhronn John Deering, bainisteoir Banc na hÉireann, Baile an Chollaigh an chéad scoláireacht ar scoláire ó Ghaelscoil Uí Ríordáin sa bhliain 1990. John Deering, the mananger of Bank of Ireland, presented the first scholarship to a student of Gaelscoil Uí Ríordáin in 1990. Suzanne Ní Bhroinn ab ainm di. Tá scoláirí ó Rang 5 ag glacadh páirt sa scoláireacht seo ó shin. Students from Rang 5 have been participating in this scholarship since then. Caitheann siad tréimhse 22 lá ag labhairt agus ag foghlaim Gaeilge i nGaeltacht Corcha Dhuibhne. They spend 22 days speaking and improving their Gaeilge in a West Kerry Irish College. Ón uair a stop Banc na hÉireann ag tabhairt an scoláireacht líon UCC an bearna. Once Bank of Ireland ceased providing the grant, Bord na Gaeilge from UCC sponsored the scholarship.
